On a recent trip to Baltimore, after settling into our hotel, the first stop on the agenda was dinner in Little Italy. We traveled to the area settled by Italian immigrants that arrived through the immigration center in Baltimore.
A fascinating fact we learned is that the immigration center in Baltimore is second only to Ellis Island.
We chose a great restaurant, Amiccis, (http://amiccis.com/menu.html a traditional Italian diner that has been serving the public for over twenty years.
The great food, amazing bread and wonderful historic neighborhood made for a great beginning of a wonderful trip in this harbor city.
