Miss Illinois County Fair 2013 – Will Reign over the Illinois State Fair

If anyone has the world by the tail it is Amelia Martens of Orion, Illinois. Amelia is the 2013 Miss Illinois County Fair 2013 and she will reign over the upcoming 2013 Illinois State Fair as summer comes to a close. With a job at the John Deere headquarters in Moline waiting for her this fall, this young woman is ready to take the next step. “I’ve enjoyed it all,” Amelia said about her busy year.

Meeting up with Amelia at the Illinois State Fair Preview day made me realize that summer is almost at an end and the Illinois State Fair as always brings thoughts of harvest, back to school, shorter days and beautiful fall. Although always ready for fall, I will be sad to see summer end.
