Chicago a gangster Paradise
Want to relive the days of gangsters and Al Capone? Want to see where the events happened on Chicago’s streets during the the hey dey of the 20’s and 30’s? I did! For an early Christmas present I took my husband to Chicago. We stayed at the lovely and historic Blackstone and had a package deal for the two hour Untouchables tour (http://www.gangstertour.com/). We learned that Al Capone had his hair cut at the barbershop once located in the Blackstone and that he took a musician that played at the Blackstone captive for three days forcing him to play the piano and sing for three days straight before releasing him with a $10,000 pay off. We saw sites, rode in the raunchy black school bus and had a band up time! Fun times in the Windy City, I recommend finding your own gangsta roots!
