Webster Groves a Place Where Art Exits
The burb of Webster Groves (http://webstergroves.org) was named Missouri’s 2013 Creative Community by the Missouri Arts Council. Webster Groves Mayor Gerry Welch said, “We are known for the arts. Here it is a community with pride in the schools and community. We plan to spend the year celebrating the many ways in which the arts contribute to our graceful environment, enrich our community and are an important component of our economic base.”
When visiting Webster Groves this past month, I enjoyed the beauty of the community and also the great food offered at at Cyrano’s (http://www.cyranos.com).
I ate an amazing mushroom pizza, but most impressive of all was the amazing desserts delivered with such flair!.
You will find something do in Webster Groves year round. Highlights include the Art & Air, Paint Webster, the Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival and the Gazebo Park concert and films series. With a popular Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, located in Webster University, along with the upcoming Sculpture Park, there is art everywhere.
