Traveling through tornado alley

Last night from St. Louis to Farmersville storms ripped through the countryside overturning semi trucks and ruining Cardinal baseball games. My family huddled in the basement as the power went out and worked together to get a generator hooked up to restore power to the sump pump.

Drivers on I-55 were backed up as electric lines went down and tin from bins were flying. Be careful driving as the weather is ever changeable. This beautiful cloud filled the evening sky the day after the storm reminding us of the old cliché, “Behind every cloud, there is always a silver lining”!
