Johnny Prolvolone’s Pizza – Yum!
Part of the fun of traveling is stopping at new places to eat. On a trip to Fort Wayne, IN my mom and I diverted for what we planned to be just a short stop in Crawfordsville, Indiana for a pizza joint that the Garmin found. Much to our delight, the pizza was wonderful and the town of Crawfordsville had many things to see and do that kept us for a bit. Our server Alli Aldrich said that Johnny’s is a family business and that they had received the accolade of being voted number one pizza two years in a row and the number one business as well.
After our taste of the supreme we could easily see why.
While there we stopped at the Henry Lane home and learned about the Abraham Lincoln connection and went to the General Lew Wallace Study and Museum. Alli told us how to find the stops and also shared information about an unusual jail museum that we didn’t have time to stop at this time. Maybe next time around!
