The Royal Lahaina Resort, paradise!

On Maui, we at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The 27-acre Resort is set on Kaanapali Beach, which was voted “America’s Best Beach.” The hotel once served as an exclusive retreat for Maui’s royalty. The rooms were spacious with great views and every night there was entertainment if you wanted to take part.

Our favorite area turned out to be the beach side lounge where one night we were serenaded by a young man – that had traveled to Maui and never went home-sang songs written long before he was ever born.
