Dining at Thunder Bay

After a busy day of touring, I want a good and healthy meal and on our hosted trip to the Quad Cities, my daughter Allie and I got that at Thunder Bay Grille in Davenport, Iowa.

With three locations, Davenport, Rockford and Pewaukee this is not a big chain restaurant, but a regional one offering a great gathering place for business or pleasure.  Executive Chef Greg Sanders chooses regional sourced entrees and hand crafted dishes.

Serving certified Angus beef, the quality is in the taste.  I had beef tips and a Caesar  salad for dinner and Allie selected a great flat bread full of fresh veggies.  Service was great, food was good, and the decor was fun.

The Davenport Thunder Bay looks a bit like a lake cottage with hunting and fishing type decor, perfect for a river town!
