Fun at Classic Green Reunion 2023
Last week we headed to Lebanon, Tennessee to attend the Classic Green Reunion 2023. With the amazing grounds of the Wilson County Fairgrounds as a backdrop, John Deere tractors were highlighted. The fairgrounds are a 260-acre property that includes the Agricultural Complex, the Wilson County Exposition Center, and Fiddlers Grove Historic Village which is a village uses real cabins and buildings!
Classic Green offered John Deere’s of all shapes and sizes.
At the Classic Green Reunion, we saw hicrops and other southern tractors. The JD D was celebrating their 100th anniversary and D’s could be found everywhere. JD 110’s were highlighted because 110’s are celebrating sixty-years of being built in Horicon, Wisconsin. There were John Deere creations, that were fun to view too. Best of all though was the friends and collectors we had not run into for a while.
Along with tractors, there was also toys, John Deere bicycles, literature, memorabilia and a very cool JD shop recreation. This includes a wonderful array of collectibles!
Finding fun things that we love to see and enjoy was a great way to spend a few days. They even had toe tapping music in the village and a few even were light on their feet!
I even managed to track down one of the Boy Scout Statues of Liberty created back when!
Thank you to all those that took time to plan, bring items to the show. Classic Green Reunion offered a chance to revel in a little tractor fun. The Classic Green Reunion was held June 15-17, 2023. The next event will take place in 2025 in Westbend, Wisconsin.
