Historic Ships museum, living history in Baltimore- picture by Rose Hammitt

Fascinated with the history of Boston’s Inner Harbor, my friend Rose and I toured the Historic Ships Museum where we visited a few of the ships including the 1854 Sloop-of-War Constellation and the World War II submarine the USS Torsk.

This museum had special meaning to both Rose and I since my father served in the Navy during the Korean War and her dad was a Merchant Marine during World War II. The ships offer insight into life aboard ship and a fscinating view into our naval past!
