Riverview Inn in downtown Clarksville Tennessee couldn’t be located in a more convenient place for downtown activities. We arrived for our hosted trip with plans to attend the Roxy’s opening night of the play Oklahoma and dine at the newly opened Strawberry Alley Ale Works. Best of all, everything was within walking distance.

Clarksville’s historic downtown is booming and the Riverview Inn is in he heart of it. The hotel has friendly staff, comfortable rooms and an amazing view. The lobby is quite lovely, but perhaps my favorite thing about the hotel besides the amenities of WiFi breakfast etc. is the river walk.
We were there over the weekend. Friday night we walked right out the door after parking and checking in to the downtown restaurant and play. After the festivities, we came right back to the Riverview Inn and settled in.
The next morning, we got directions from the hotel staff and headed out to the farmer’s market and other sites.
On Sunday morning, we took in the lovely River walk which is right outside the hotel. There is a walk allowing you to cross over the highway and a ramp that is handicap accessible as well.
Riverview Inn is located in the heart of Clarksville.
The Cumberland River is quite beautiful and the walk is great. My husband Keith and I enjoyed taking in the morning view before breakfast and heading back to Illinois.
The hotel proximity to everything makes this a perfect place to stay and enjoy the downtown fun and the hotel staff is friendly and accommodating offering up directions and information to tourists like me!
