A Poem, Fall is in the Air

fall
Fall drive on Route 66 looking for fall color.

Fall is in the Air

Leaves rustle,

Winds whistle,

Crunch under feet.

Fall color,

Birds flying,

Nighttime early creeps.

Furnace kicks on,

Fireplace is lit,

Cat’s cuddle.

Books and blankets come out,

Chili bubbles on the stove

Pumpkin bread and banana loaf

Fall is in the air.
