Come ’n Git It – I Got it!

Great food and decor made this a favorite dining spot that felt like home!

Martinsville, Indiana’s Come ‘n Git It Diner states that they offer “Comfort food at it’s best” and they don’t disappoint.  Located in Morgan County, this diner is decorated according to Morgan County CVB’s Executive Director Tosha Daugherty, with farm items from a family farm house.

While on a hosted trip to Morgan County, Sara Broer of Travels With Sara and I were privy to the great food offered at Come ‘n Git It.

When I saw pecan pancakes on the menu, I admit to a moment of gluttony.  I ordered two.  While I could not eat all of the pancakes I certainly did manage to down all the crisp bacon.  I was so set on my own meal I really didn’t notice what Tosha and Sara ordered, I was focused!

However, I did catch that they planned to serve green eggs and ham on St. Patrick’s Day, and Tosha said her 8-year old son Liam, who has all the makings of a serious foodie, would be all about it.

For this farm girl, the decor and comfort food spoke of home and made me miss the farm and the farmer.  It was the perfect last stop before heading back to central Illinois.

At Come ‘n Git It, I got a great meal, wonderful hospitality, and went away content!  Located at 96 N. Main St. Martinsville, Indiana, call 765-343-6196 for details?
